Hi all...it's been a while. I posted last August about an issue with GFSIL - I think I finally got them off my back - yyaayyy!
Now onto another issue...last week I started receiving phone calls from Titan Management, not know what this was about - because everything was left on voice mail - I googled the address and sent them a letter telling them to cease and desist all phone calls and to validate in writing exactly what their purpose is in calling me.
Today I received another phone call from Terri at Titan Management (they haven't received my c&d letter yet), she tells me she is trying to collect on a payday loan I had with quickpayday back in 2005!
I don't remember this loan, but I would guess that yes I had one. I've done a little searching and it seems that quickpayday.com has closed its doors. Does anyone know if thats true? Do you know when that happened? Can they still collect since they shut down?
I told Terri today that she should be receiving a letter from me in the next couple of days, she said she would be sending me the initial debt collection letter tomorrow morning. I know that when I receive that letter I have 30 days to demand validation.
Guess I just want to get my ducks in a row before I get the letter and have to start up this game again.
Aarrgghh....what is it about collectors? You attempt to start cleaning up your credit report and they come out of the woodwork.
