I need some help fast.
This company has continued to call me on my cell phone and work, they have also called my boss but I intercepted that call and did not transfer. THey have thick accents, and have used several names that i have also seen online that are the same as other people who have been called. I have seen this online in different places that they are a scam. The receptionist was on break. I know they will call again. This was a loan from Cash net and they sold it to AIS Services LLC. I contacted them and they said it could be someone they contracted out, they said I could pay them (AIS) or United. It didn’t sound right to me. This company has threatened to sue the two references that I put down, threatened to call my boss, said they were going to download affidavit to the system and I would have to go to court. I don’t know what to do. I am a single mom of two kids, I work full time and go to school part time. I am worried because I do owe this money and they will take me to court. I am in Texas and I believe I can not have my wages garnished but I am very worried that they will take me to court. I am also worried that my boss will continue to keep getting calls and my job will be in jeopardy. I have told my HR about this so they are aware but how long will this continue, can I get them to stop calling me. I don’t know what to do and I need help fast. I have seen I can report this to different places. Please someone let me know what I need to do exactly, I am really scared and I don’t know if this is or is not a scam and if I will or will not be sued. Please help. Thank you.

What you should do is tell your boss, I don't know if you have that type of relationship you all have, but it is best to be honest, thats what I did with mine, and when they called and talked to him, he knew what the deal was. You can fax over a cease and desist letter but their is nothing that says that they will stop, even though its illegal to continue to call after you have gotten written notice to stop some companies will continue to do so.

this is a scam our company has been dealing with this all summer with one of my co workers. we told them to quit calling. they didn't stop calling we tracked the numbers they call from and they don't go anywhere except the middle of the street or miles of the keys of florida. finally we started to mess with them calling them all the time and having fun at there expense. they still called. what finally stopped the calls was we called them asked for there address as we had intent to sue them for 1.5 million dollars. we then told them what international laws they were breaking and our intent was to sue them under these laws. that was about 6 weeks ago and have not heard a word from them. hope this can help. good luck!
