Hi Everyone- Well, this is what I woke up to today. 7:00am I get a call from "Kimberly" (clearly from India or somewhere else but here) wanting to speak to me. After I verified who I was this woman had the nerve to ask the most blatant questions: (1) Are you currently on parole (2) Am I a felon (3) How many times have I been to jail for this beore (4) Do you still have a job or did they fire you, etc. I couldn't beleive what I was hearing! Mind you, this is the 1st phone call I rcv'd from this company EVER. I answered on the 2nd ring, etc. Wasn't trying to dodge them at all.
She went on to say i've committed a felony, she's already called my local sheriff's department and they're on the way to my job right now to arrest me and if I have a child/children they'll be taken to foster homes because their mommy writes bad checks and isn't responsible.
Ok, now she's gone to far. They're so stupid anyways, i'm a sales rep that works out of my home in Southern California, my employer's office is in New Jersey... hello! When she said that about my son I told her she was breaking the law by her ridiculous scare tactics... big surprise, she hung up.
Few minutes later my g'friend calls me from work telling me this psycho called her asking her and telling her the exact same b.s. she told me. This particular friend is from the 'hood' if you will and basically told this woman where she can stick it.
Just for reference this it the # (904) 723-3175 they called me from. A nice man answered and transferred when I called her back for hanging up on me. She anwers all happily saying "Oh Ms. Garcia, i'm on the phone with your local D.A.'s office discussing you RIGHT NOW. He's sending a sheriff over to arrest you". Wow, i'm so important.... two sheriff's are on their way to see lil' ol' me for a lousy $200 pdl.
What frustrates me is this goes on and on and on and really does scare people. It use to scare me. I even went so far as to talk to her supervisor (supposively, betcha it was her co-worker next to her and they lied) and she said "I don't have a problem with the way she was talking to you." I said "Have a nice day, goodbye".
