I would like to know if anyone has any information about weltman, weinberg and reis co lpa they claim they are representing resurgent capital and lvnv funding llc and fleet bank? Has anyone had any dealings with these clowns?

It looks like they are hired by the collection agency to recover the balance from you? Have they validated your account in writing? Make them aware of the federal laws if they are doing genuine collections. Your rights are defined in the FDCPA laws.

Welcome to the Community  Yes, I personally am dealing with them, and have been dealing with LVNV for about a year and a half. Have you requested a debt validation from them? If you do, or have, don't be surprized if you get only a computer gernerated paper, nothing more. Be really carefull in speaking with them, and take names and notes-record if legal in your state. I am saying this, because they are well know for breaking all sorts of regualtions. How long have you been dealing with them, what's the age of the debt, and when was your last payment? Keep usposted..KAren
