I have to admit, the voicemail i received today from a middle eastern guy (i think he said his name was jason something) almost made me laugh, but then i thought that maybe i should look into this to see if its a scam or not...
dude calls me, telling me that if i dont call him back that i am running away and "bad things" will happen. the number he gave me to call back is 904-239-3956. he called from 004-081-5573. i know the return number is in jacksonville, fl.
anybody have any dealings with this guy? what is this about? he wouldn't say via voicemail what the matter was concerning, just that i needed to call him back fast.
help.

sounds like US NATIONAL BANK.i wouldn't call this cretin back.he is in INDIA and can't do a thing but threaten you.it's not worth it to even call him back.
thats what i was thinking... honestly, i had no intention of calling this guy back. although they did call me twice, the 2nd voicemail was just music playing for 30 seconds.
i have to say that i hadn't been trolling these boards for the past few monthes, i probably would have not known any better and would have freaked out and called the guy back, and who knows what would have happened. you guys are doing a good thing here. thank you, and keep at it.

Seems like they are back in full force with the calls. Today I got about 12 calls in a row on my work line. One of my co-workers suggested sending the call to our campus police department. Since I did that, I have had no more calls from them - not that I think it will totally stop them. Today was the worst it has ever been with them - usually they call my cell, leave a message, call my work phone and leave a message and that is it.

Hahahahaha isn't that the truth if it is not "bad things will happen its wishing someone good luck. I cant stop laughing this is too funny. I wish they would change the script.
so this guy tried to call my cell 15 times yesterday, half of those instances while i was at work. now im thinking that because they only called my cell and not my work number that they dont actually have my work number. what do you guys think? because really, calling my work 200 times a day would be the only way they can really bother me. otherwise, im just gonna ignore all calls to my cell from that number.
