Previous Creditor BOA - CR lists - sold to lender?
Current Creditor WWAPII,LLC (not licensed/bonded to collect in TX) who has engaged Capitol Managment Services, LP (licensed/bonded in TX to collect) WWAP is just an inquirey on (2)CRAs and now is reporting the same amount as BOA's charge-off according to 7/08 (1)CR.
got letter from CMS stating acct owner info & to contact the for immediate pynt. letter is legal content, but has wrong address. Don't really wantt then to know it either. I have not had any correspondence with any company. this is the first letter to receive from any CA.
Who should I send the DV to? WWAP or CMS or both?

time is not on my side have 2 days before DV has to be mailed!!!

Both of them are scummy bottomfeeders. Be prepared for anything. When you DV make sure you request validation under the fdcpa and Chap 392 of the TFC.

the budhibbs website has good info on the "antics" of various CAs. I found it last night and have bookmarked it. unfortunately, i found one of the CAs on my credit report on there and i think i have a fight ahead of me, but the info on that site was very helpful.

It means they no longer own the debt. It should also show a $0 balance. Is this the OP? Likelly WWAP is the JDB that purchased the account.

Sorry, New at this, what does OP mean? the letter is from CMS in which I am to contact them about pymnt or questions and WWAP as current creditor. & WWAP is on my credit report as active collection. & refer to BOA as previous creditor.Yes BOA is $0/paid.
thanks for the help!! Also open for comments to this issue. Wnat to a few stepps ahead when & if things get rolling.
