Testimonials:I fell into the trap of credit cards at a young age and it got out of control really fast. I got my first credit card with intensions of building up credit score so I would be able to buy a newer car. Well, the simplicity of buying it now and paying for it later got out of control. I am happy I found this forum. When I did, I was freaking out, and worried about money. Now, I have the mojority of my credit cards paid off and I am working to pay the remaining few off as well. Debtconsolidationcare helped me out tremendously.

Testimontials: I found this site while searching for contact information for one of the PDL companies that I had a loan with. It never occurred to me until I found this site that I had any recourse against these companies. Everyone was great in helping me, and I have had 4 of the PDL's marked Paid in Full, and even received a refund on one of them. I had paid well over the original loan amount plus the allowable interest in my state on all of my loans, but just didn't see a way out. Thanks to this site and it's members, I have relieved much of my stress!

Testimonial: I found myself earlier this summer needing help. So I did like many others and took out pdls thinking "This is only short term" Well, my financial life took a downward spiral from there. I felt trapped and penniless because of these pdls, I felt alone and that I had no hope of getting out of the cycle. But by chance one night I stumbled upon this site and it has been a GOD SEND. I have learned I'm not the only one in the pdl trap and that I have rights. I received good/sound advice from the members followed it by learning my state laws and rights. I followed the members advice and I am finding success with escaping the pdl trap. I've also learned how to improve my credit report/scores by learning from others. I could go on and on. This site is GREAT! I can now sleep at night without my calculator wondering how I will pay my bills. Thank You! (Soon to be PDL FREE!)

Sub: Happy to find this site.

I was so grateful to find this site. To read the stories of real, normal people who have made the same honest mistakes I have. Always nice to know we are not alone and that others have not only been there, but gotten through it. It helps so much to have unconditional support, along with the tons of truly helpful infomation. I feel for once I can start to see a light at the end of the pdl/debt cycle. God bless. This is a great community.

I found this site while searching PAYDAY LOAN HELP.. I was like everyone else in big trouble.. not in default but close. I was so happy and surprised to find i was not alone.. I am waiting for a Paid in full on 4 PDL and only 2 more to go.. but I feel more in control.. I couldnt believe I made over 60k and fell in to this trap. Once I am done I can pay the CC off. Testimonial I joined debt consolidation Care only a few weeks ago. If I had joined sooner, I would have been several hundred dollars closer to having all my debts paid off. With the help I've received from community members of Debt Consolidation Care, my goal of being debt free this year will come much sooner than planned.

Testimonials: In mid-November I started getting pre-recorded calls from allied interstate. No info, just a callback number. So, I googled them and ended up here at Debtcc. Wow! It's been humbling and educational to read the threads here. The good news: Allied Interstate was looking for someone else who just happens to have my last name and first initial. The better news: I pulled my credit report and found a collection that I wasn't aware of and am getting it taken care of. Until I lost my job in fall of 2005, I had superb credit. And after that, I just took it for granted. Not any more!

The BEST news: Your collective experience has helped me get committed to pulling my financial bacon out of the fire. The hard-earned knowledge of this community has booted me in the backside so that I can repair my credit before it gets much worse. Because of what I'm learning here, I'll be able to stay out of some truly awful financial traps. And I've got an opportunity to encourage others and help them stand up for themselves.

Thank you all for being here to help and support people you don't even know. You are the kind of people who make the world a better place.

Best,
Diva
(sorry, no pic yet, I'll work on that...)

I found this site by mistake, but I'm glad I did. I am at the beginning of the payday loan cycle and right now I can't really see the end of it- I can't catch up enough to stop applying...

Testimonials: I came to this site accidently trying to find a phone number for a payday loan I was about to default on. Because of the information on this site I was able to prepare for what was to come. I learned exactly what was a lie and what to do to get myself out of the mess. Because of this site I am now payday loan free and without this site I don't want to think about where I would be . . . .

Testimonials: I found this site because I was bored. I stayed, because I learned more about debt collection in couple of weeks here, than I did in 7 months as a collections manager. I am happy to share my time and ever growing knowledge. For personal use, I've learned to how to stay on top of my credit report, and will do so now.

Testimonial: I found this site while searching for "payday loan relief", "payday loan help", or "payday loan assistance" - this site came up all three times, right on top of the search results. I figured that was a sign I should check it out. I've been here ever since, and have learned so much. I didn't have a large number of payday loans outstanding when I joined, but I did need help with the ones I had, which were a little difficult to deal with. The fine members of this site, some of which have become my friends and confidants, were able to help me through a very rough time and help me free myself of my self-imposed PDL trap. I think that's the most important lesson someone can learn from this site - we got ourselves into the PDL mess...but we can get ourselves OUT of it as well, by following the advice given here!

Testimonial: Well I have a long story so bare with me. Everything started when me and my husband go married, he had to have his first of 3 surgeries. I was working and going to school. We made it through that surgery with the help of his credit cards. Then came the second and with his credit cards and my pay check we made it again. I had a changed jobs, and then had a baby. After the baby was born we struggled a little, but we curved our spending and made it. he decided he wanted better money and changed jobs. The money was good, but then he got layed off. Thanks to the mines. During that time he hurt his knee and the required surgery. One week before time to have his surgery he got laid off and guess what there went the insurance. So I took out several payday loans so he could have his surgery. I was the only one working for almost three months. Then I about had a nervous breakdown. We had it rough and almost lost my car and his truck. He went back to work at his first job and we was still stuggling. I was in denial until Christmas. I bearing could afford to buy my daughter stuff. Then we decided to file bankruptcy. We went to a lawyer and he went through all of our debts and just flat out right told us you will never be able to pay everything off. We owe $56,000 in medical bills alone, with 4 credit cards, and 5 to 6 payday loans. He informed me to stop payments on everything. I did and it wasn't long before I was getting the horrible phone calls. I was freaked out. I couldn't work for the rest of the day. I was researching Bass and Associates found you guys. What a blessing! I have read about them and other ones I am invovled with and finally got up the courage to call Kentucky's Office of Finanical Instutions. They gave me valuable information. I found out that I have over paid each company by hundreds of dollars. So that is pretty much my story. I am now going to get the ball rolling on getting some of my money back and I will be going to court for my bankruptcy soon. One things as a family that we have done is set a budget. This week has been rough because of One Click Cash, but hopefully I can get through that. So I will be sticking around to help out others.
