. This is about Google listing. It is both fortunate and unfortunate that most of our new members find this forum through Google search engine listing. I want your help in choosing a good title, description for DebtCC homepage in google results.

Current Title: Debt Consolidation Care - Internet's first get-out-of-debt community

Current Description: Debt consolidation care is a community of 100000+ members. Includes blog, forums, wiki, groups, and events. Meet friends who live, work, study around you ...

We wanted to reflect a community feeling in the title and description but may be people are not liking it. I want your help in making it really attractive that will attract more people to click on DebtCC from the list of the sites. I am attaching a snapshot of search result page for keyword debt consolidation.

I was also wondering whether people really care about community while searching for debt consolidation? May be they are too much in hurry for finding a professional help for their debt. Look at description for most of the sites, they are focusing on solving their debts and offering a solution.

I like the family appeal- but maybe we need to put more of how we help and with what. Like help and solutions for debt problems,pdls,credit repair, bankruptcy, etc--instead of it looking more like a place to blog and meet friends--not that that isn't ok--but when you are desperate- you want specific answers! Then when they jopin, they will find the help, support and friendship that we offer

I personally like it the way it is. It reflects "community" which automatically makes people feel welcome. The sites above it, with the exception of wikopedia, are advertising individual companies that the average person would be leary of. Sort of like picking a name from the yellow pages. I personally found the site by googling Route 66 Funding to find out who these weird people were.
Just my opinion.

i agree with Bossy and Frog. the feeling of community and family takes away the feeling of being alone in all of this. We are a very strong healthy community, and that is what makes us special. Just my own personal experience, is that I instantly felt comfortable here.

Thanks, out of all the six sites listed which one will you click (as a person searching for debt consolidation) and why?

As usual I am glad I have a big family to discuss such issues Smile

I meant join not jopin!! I like the "family" and community feel also. But I was desperate to find out what this collection agency could do to me and needed answers fast- Maybe make it look like we aren't soliciting for consolidation companies, but are offering solutions, from which they are free to choose from..KAren

I don't know that I would have clicked on any of them ,except ours--I was looking for a particuliar company, not settlement or loans at the time..

Didnt realize that the I was suppose to chose from the top six. I instantly went to ours and chose that. the others did not appeal to me at all.

I like them, but, once again, feel like we should also focus and sya something about solutions for every debt problem, or something to that effect--will gve more suggestions later, have to take mom to Dr..KAren

I agree- when I was desperate and scared--the lst thing I was interest in was blogs, and wiki--I need answers!!
