Experian says accounts will stay on record 10 yrs Why?

I have read that its only 7 yrs but several accts they have listed will be off only after 10 yrs. just normal accts not bankruptcy.
How do I make them take it off? I filed a dispute already.

Have you checked the date when the accounts first became delinquent? Negative information stays for seven years mentioned in the FCRA. Wait for the response the bureaus give. I think it must be a system error.
