I don't understand something and maybe someone can explain it to me. I looked at my credit scores and they say 613 but when I went to apply for a loan, the creditor told me my FICA score was 578. Which is which and which is important?

It depends on which bureau they pulled your info from. Each bureau (there are 3) report different things, and have different FICO scores. That's why when you get a mortgage, they pull from all 3 bureaus to get a better idea of your credit worthiness.

From what I understand, your FICO score is from Equifax. However, usually companies, depending on what you are applying for, will pull all 3 scores, and average them.
