I was hoping to get a free credit report from each of the three credit agencies, but I wasn't sure which site to get it from. Any suggestions?

The ONLY place to get a free credit report from the three bureaus is

This site is run by the three major bureaus. It is the ONLY truly free credit report site.

Jessi is right. The site she gave you belongs to the FTC. So, you can put your trust on them and your money won't go wasted. You are entitled to get one free copy every year.

If you go to that site, dont you have to choose one of the three credit reporting agencies? You don't get one from all three do you? I thought you had to choose and could only get one. Does any one know? Can you get a freebie from all three?

Nope, you can choose to get one from all three and they are all free. Once a year you can do this, I do it every year for all three in January.

Just tried it, you can get one from all three free, However it is only one per year. Might want to do one now, wait a few months, get another from one of the others and so on, to see if things are changing.

Just wanted to add to above info. That site is once a year. If you are denied credit,insurance, or a job you can get another free one from whatever bureau they pulled. Just make sure to get your adverse action letter and send it to bureau for another free report. Also, if you dispute info on your bureau report,they are required to give you an updated copy.
