CHLD/CBSD shows up as a credit account on my credit report but I have no idea what that stands for. Can someone tell me what that is????

I'm not sure about the CHLD, but the CBSD stands for Citibank.

Try this phone number 1-866-875-5488 and inquire about the account you see in your credit report. It should be removed if it's posted inaccurately.

This company also has shown up on my credit report and I have no clue as to what this is and believe that it is fradulant

I have this same code on my Credit Report and I finally figured out what it stands for.
CHLD/CBSD is a charge card for the Department store The Children's Place....hope this helps!!

CHLD might be a division for citibank. i don't know whether this can be done or not but could'nt you inquire about it with citibank itself? you might just take a chance.

Here is a number I found. This was off the Children's Place website. It is worth a try to call and see if they can give you any information.
1 877 PLACE USA
Also, CBSD does stand for citibank. Store cards are usually noted in the following manner:
"Name of the store"/CBSD. Which means citibank is the finacial institution behind the store card.
