Okay, I don't have a credit card but I probably will soon. One thing I've realized is that a lot of people around me are in debt!! I really really don't want to end up this way! Debt is probably one of the main reasons why a lot of people are always searching for ways to make some extra money...... like, online for example! So... I want ask all of you experienced experts of money..... how could I make sure that I do not end up joing the credit card debt club!?

First of all, if you can pay cash for what you "want" and "need" do it, or safe up for the money then by it. Also, pay the bill in full each month. You need to respect this card and it will respect you. Getting into debt is very easy and does not require someone smart, but getting out of debt is a whole new story.

all the best,

I know now that you should never carry a balance. It snowballs and you find a way to justify it. Never charge anything you can't pay for in full at the end of the month.

If i knew what problems credit cards bring 5 years ago, I would have kept one card only. For emergencies.

Ok...just want to add my ' 2cents'. I have two credit cards. Both have a credit limit of $300.00 each. Which, for me, is good. I can 'control' the spending that way, on each card. Works for me!~!

I currently have ten cards for a grand total of $150.2K in credit limit. I use them for everyday purchases and pay in full monthly.
