i am in a position where i need to build my credit. from my previous post, you would know that i have been able to pay off 5 accounts and have two more pending (until i can save some money to offer them a lump sum)
Anyhow, i need to start thinking about rebuilding my credit. Any ideas on what credit card i should apply for??? Should i go talk to my bank?
Thanks Again!

The best start is to get a secured credit card from your bank and pay it off ahead of schedule in full. Once you have done this you will start receiving offers in the mail. Beware of the fine print on those.

Juniper has an I-Tunes card that was fairly easy to get as well as Merrit Bank Hooters Card. Crown Jewelers will not do a credit check and give you a $1500 CL. They report to TU and EX only and their only location is in TX or via the internet. Its pretty crappy jewelry but I bought a $35 necklace witha small down payment, PIF the next month and they have been reporting since Feb. Alos, you can go for the Sterling Trifecta (Kays, Jarrod, and JB Robinson). I got all 3 cards each showing a $3000 limit (actually since they're all Sterling it is a shared $3000 but it looks like $9k on your reports)
