I pulled my transunion credit report online and while I am in default with Cash Central they have me listed on there twice.

I have heard before that people here have disputed this and gotten it off the credit report.

Exactly how did people disputed. You have to give a reason does someone have any ideas.

Thanks

You notify the CRA that you are disputing the debt and why. They will contact the creditor for validation of the debt. If they cannot get validation or enough proof that it is a legitimate debt, by law they have to remove it from your report.

I was under the impression that because it was PDL and there is no place that has my legitimate signature on it that there should be a specific way to dispute it.

Could someone advise.

Check out the Credit Score, Credit Repair and Credit Report forum here. It sounds like you're trying to clean up your credit report, yes/no?

I know I was able to contact the CRA and tell them I was disputing an aged account (as in it was past the credit reporting period) and it was removed. I'm not sure how you would dispute a PDL, but someone in the other forum might know.
