I sent a DV letter to a creditor... Waited 30 days and didn't recieve a response... Sent copy of letter and certified mail reciept to CB to dispute...

What happens next? Should I expect a response from CB in 30days?

A credit bureau normally has thirty days to resolve a dispute. The time period would start when they receive the dispute.

30 days from the time they recieve the dispute. They have to document it or remove it.

If they do not remove it after 30 days then you have to send them a dispute letter again. You have to keep nagging, I know this whole disputing stuff is quite bugging but there is no other option if you care for your credit. You have to go on disputing it till the time it is removed.

Thirty days for a paid report or fourty five days for a free report. If they have not completed the investigation in the alloted time, then they must delete to stay in compliance with the Fcra.
