If you go to www.annualcreditreport.com, you can access all your credit information from the 3 bureaus. This is a free report that is allowed to everyone to check once a year.

According to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies – Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion will provide you with a free copy of your credit report, once every 12 months at your request. It is advisable to get a free copy of your credit report so that you can keep a track of what’s going in your financial life. Regular report monitoring also guards you against identity theft.
Ordering a report is simple and easy. Firstly you have to visit the web site for one of these credit reporting agencies: Equifax (www.equifax.com), TransUnion (www.transunion.com) or Experian (www.experian.com). Then you have to decide whether you want to order a report via mail, online or by phone. You just have to provide your full name, date of birth, present address, Social Security number and the contact address of your present organization. Always review the report closely for inaccuracies. If you do find false information, then immediately notify the bureau in writing that you believe that the information in your report is inaccurate.
