If I have an item from Direct Energy that has been sent to creditors do i contact the creditor or direct energy for a pay for delete?

You can make arrangements with anyone who has your file. Call the original company and get the status of your account. Once you got the arrangements done, stick to the plan and pay it off. Make sure that you get the PIF letter and the item is updated with the bureaus.
