I pulled my credit report the other day and saw a $40.00 charge from my gym membership that I had last year that was charged off. I knew I paid it so I contacted them and sure enough they found that I had in fact paid it last year and they said they will change it to paid in full. They had been reporting "charged off" on my credit report every month since June of last year which apparently has effected my credit pretty bad. Are they able to remove that from my report??

Challenge it with the reporting agency in writing and it will be removed. If they do not get a validation back in 30 days it will stay off!
