Default out of options?

i have a 150$ debt on my EX file which I have been trying to validate since January, always by CMRR post. The CA keeps ignoring me and Experian investigated twice and verified the debt. I kept complaining again and again with EX and just got a final letter stating they will not write back to me again because the debt has been verified. They never sent me any information in detail, just stated the debt was verified. CA ignored yet another CMRR letter from me to validate the debt a couple of weeks ago. I had this reported more then a month ago to FTC. nothing from no one. what can I do? I simply don't know what to do any more.I spent so much money on CMRR letters to CA and EX.
any advice? thank you,'much appreciated.

You have nothing to do but to wait for the FTC to take their step. However, you are not liable to pay them unless you get the debt validated from them. I think you should send an intent to sue letter to the collection agency asking them either to validate the debt or you will move to the court.

You can personalize the letter below and sent it to the collection agency / creditor.

Listen the easiest thing now is to look at your credit report. If the account fails to say this account is disputed by the consumer then you have a FDCPA violation and now you have them. Take a look, if it doesn't let me know.

it says:
This item was verified and updated on Jun 2009.
and:
Your Statement:
I HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ACCOUNT.
Account information disputed by consumer (Meets requirement of the Fair Credit Reporting Act).

but i just cant get a hold of anyone related to this account. simply do not know what to do. should i still send them intent to sue letter and base it on what in the argument?
thanks!

Guest are you saying the report does not say the account information is disputed by consumer? You have a failed violation. You can go at it alone or contact an attorney.

Default 2d collection

If the credit card co. writes off the debt, and it says so on your credit report, can a collection agent still try to collect it and do you have to pay them?

Yes a charged off account can be sold and attempted to be collected on. The problem collection agencies have is how to properly validate the debt. Dispute the debt and have them validate the debt. Remember in writing and certified mail. DO NOT CALL THEM EVER.
