Only negative I see is the settled account. Continue to repair your report and add new accounts.

Hi seeme

The first thing in my opinion you should do is to monitor your credit report. Get a copy of your credit report from each of the three major credit reporting agencies and review it properly. If you come across any errors, out of date or obsolete information or accounts that are not yours but are still included in your report, then dispute it immediately with the bureaus.

Contact your creditors or the source of information: In case the result of the investigation done by the bureaus after receiving your dispute letter says that the disputed information is not incorrect then you need to contact the creditors directly to argue your case. If you are successful in getting the creditor or the information provider to erase the disputed item from your credit report, then please make sure that you get a letter from them acknowledging the error.

Maintain the records. Keep all the documents properly related to these disputes and investigations. You can present it to the credit reporting agency if the creditor continues to report the error.

Hope this was helpful
Take care

Repairing credit on your own is the best way out, why do you have to pay a third party for the work that you can do it yourself.

You can repair your credit on your own by challenging those chargeoffs. Your best results would be to hire a reputable credit service. You will see better results and a lot quicker results. Some are very reasonable and have payment plans. If you need any more help just holler at me. I know of several that you could use.

With so many fraudulent companies running around with the logo of non profit credit repair clinics one has to be really really careful. As Glynis commented above that with reputable credit services you can be benefited. Thus, if you are not willing to do credit repair on your own then it is very important for you to find a REPUTABLE credit repair. lam emphasizing it again - REPUTABLE AND AUTHENTIC.

Take care
Nelly

There are several things you can do on your own but it is very time consuming. While you are learning how to do it you can have someone else do it that knows what they are doing. Your credit can be repaired and done before you get to 1st base usually. I happen to work for one of the best companies and love my job. It lets me help people straighten out ther bureaus and get their life back on track. Who could ask for a better job than that!
