Improving bad credit is a stressful job but it is not impossible. All you have to do is change your attitude towards money. Given below are some of the tips that might help you
Pay bills on time. Your payment history is one of the important factors that determine your score. However, remember that the recent past dues are the ones that greatly influence your score. A bankruptcy filed 8 years ago won’t affect your score that much what the accounts that recently fell a month or two behind can do.
Secondly, credit limits on each of your account. The amount of debt you owe compared to your credit limits is another influencing factor. If the amount is close to your credit limit, then it’s likely to hamper your score.
Do not apply frequently for credit. Too many credit inquiries initiated by you will have a negative impact on your credit report.
How long have you had credit? Generally, scoring systems consider people who have had credit for a longer period of time are creditworthy.
I hope it was helpful. And do not forget even the word impossible means Im possible…isn’t it? So be patient and manage your money efficiently.
Take care
