can a debt collector do a hard pull of my credit report for an account that my husband owns? the cc in question, i am not an authorized user...i understand permissible purpose i think but can they look at my credit for his bussiness charge card???? thank you..

The creditor cannot pull out your credit report unless your are a co-signer to the credit card agreement. You can send them a letter asking them either to remove the hard inquiry from your report or show your authorization. You can find sample letters by visiting the link debt settlement letters.
