First thing you need to do is pull your latest credit copies and find out the actual status of each account. Go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/ and pull a combined report of the three national CRAs. This is a reliable source from the Federal Trade Commission. Go through each item very carefully and find out any inaccurate items which may be reported and dispute it with the bureaus. They will correct it with the data furnishers. Once you know about all the creditors, call each company and set up some payment arrangements. They might be ready to work with you since you want to pay your debts. Get everything in writing to have a proof of your actions.
