Default Credit Repair Experts

Has anybody ever dealt with Credit Repair Experts. Good? Bad?

Looks like they are similar to Lexington Law. I saw a lot of bad things on Rip Off Report about Lexington Law but nothing about Credit Repair Experts.

Thank You in advance for any information you can give me.

To be honost. I just don't have the time. I know that sounds stupid, but I work 7 days a week and am in the middle of selling my house and moving 1600 miles away. It is just one more thing to add to my day that already doesn't have enough hours in it. So it may be worth the $40 a month to get it started for me.

That is an understandable situation but do understand that a consumer does lose some rights under Fcra if the credit bureaus find out a company is hired.

I know how he feels. Less than a year ago, I was getting out of payday loans by working 2 jobs, over 70 hours a week, I got myself in a hole and it was going to take more than information to take care of it. I had to make money. I did not have time to sleep, much less surf the internet. It takes time to get the best information. I now have good credit -in less than a year and I did not dispute one thing. Everything on my report was accurate and I did not feel I should dispute it. I was afraid it would come back and bite me in the **** latter on. My paid judgement and 5+ collections were 4+ years old and I rehabbed my student loan - so that helped. I would be leery of using the credit repair services, because of what Cajun said. But, I sure understand your lack of time!

number 1, there is no such thing as credit repair experts. if you give these guys your money, just flush it down the toliet instead. they are phonies. even a real attorney really cant repair your credit. you and time are the only ones that can do it. remember that i said this later on if you give your money away to some jokers who are going to laugh at you when they get it.

DONKT DO IT.

You can pull your three reports for free and challenge things a couple at a time over a period of a year. Some companies do not have the personell to dig up old files to validate the entries and will not respond, others may not have records at all. Do not do it all at once or it will send a red flag to the reporting agencies. Some repair rip off companies will challenge everything on you report and those entries will be removed. You pay them and Voila! After thirty days there back on your report and good luck getting your money back. Surely you can find time to send out a couple of letters a month.

There are many companies that make big claims like repairing people's credit records, erasing bad credit from the reports, or promising of new, clean credit histories. But all these big claims suddenly vanish when you ask them to PERFORM. In my opinion no one can repair your credit. Its you and only you who can do it. So gear up and manage your finances properly.

Default credit repair co

I agree with cajun and frogpatch. You can and will have better results with doing it youself. I have had great success doing it alone. Many deletes.

I did hire a company for a little time with the assistance of a foreclosule that was started. The company wrote and sent the dispute letters to me in my e-mail. I then went and re-wrote the letter in my own handwriting and wholah the lates were removed from Trans union. The nice thing was I got to see and use the dipute letter.

The co was your smart credit in Washington state. I paid $99 to start and $40 per month. It was handy since I was pressed for time as well.

Hi

Under fdcpa a consumer has the right to dispute a debt
with a debt collector. The consumer can send a debt validation letter if he/she thinks that the debt is not legally owed by the CA, the debt belongs to another person, the debt is out of statute or the amount of the debt is inflated. You can refer to the link below for sample dispute letters.
