Letters from creditors

Hi
I'm applying for private student loans. On my CR, there are 2 charged off cards. I used a debt consolidation co. to pay them.

The student loan lenders want me to get letters from my creditors saying that I made satisfactory payment arrangements. When I ask the creditors for such a letter, they say just get the letter from your debt consolidation company. But the lenders want the letters from the creditors themselves. BTW, since the cards were charged off, I'm actually dealing with collection agencies.

What do I do?

I'm fixing my credit and it's not being recognized!

Like the student lenders suggested, you need to contact your debt consolidation company. They were the ones you were dealing with while you were fixing your credit. You also need to send out a letter demanding to have the error fixed on your credit report. If you have the contact you signed with your consolidation company, include that with your letter.
