Are you authorizing the company to look at your credit report??

I sent a DV letter to Avante and then a couple days later the put an inquiry on my report, can I dispute that, or just send them a removal request??

In my opinion they are not allowed to do anything in regards to collecting until they validate that debt. I think that looking into your credit report is a means of collecting in an indirect manner. They did not report anything did they?

What? They inquired to your CR. For what? They already know you are in collections...what else do they need? I also believe they are supposed to validate first.

They have not report anything to my knowledge, but should I send the letter asking them to remove the inquiry? I dont understand why they did that either.
