I could have received the same results (for about $10 and a little of my time) if I had sent the letters to the CRA's to have the duplicate entries removed from my reports.
That goes for *any* credit repair firm, or debt relief firm for that matter. This site will give you pointers. The Federal Trade Commission site will give you pointers. There are consumer advocate blogs all over the internet that will give you pointers. The Fair Isaac (myFICO) website gives you a *lot* of pointers. The websites of the credit bureaus themselves give you pointers. And most of those pointers come with sample letter templates for disputes, etc.

I worked there as an agent. Scam. they tell you to "set" your own prices. The amount you are being charged has NOTHING to do with the amount of debt you owe.

Meaning RMCN...this is a scam. I worked there as an agent and they charge you whatever amount they want. Agents are incouraged to "up" the price as this is how you get paid. The amount you are charged has absolutley nothing to do with the amount of debt you owe. It is based on sales quotas.

Im glad I came to this site and read all the information you guys put on here becasue I just left them a message to contact me but I will decline the offer when they call. I have read the ripoff reports on lexington law firm and they are no good as well. Does anyone know a really good company to repair my credit seems like they all ripping people off. I know of a good consolidation company but I need a repair to make my score go up quickly.

WOW!!! Now I just sign up today with this company RMCN, everything was done over the phone, no money want not giving up front. The rep name was Kevin asking price was $750.00 I wish I have done my home work first they was referred, I kind of felt something was wrong about the conversation. Now I am wondering is it to late for me to switch company after hearing all of the "DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"

I signed up for Lexington Law Group/Firm and it is $99.00 and $59.00 a month for the level of service I wanted. I haven't even paid the $99.00 start up fee yet, but they have already begun to challenge 8 items on two credit reports.

RMCN charges up front fees...guess what?? that's against Federal Law: http://www.bbb.org/us/article/credit...oliferates-323 It is against the law, and a HUGE RED FLAG to charge for credit repair services up-front before redendering any service. The BBB also lists this company with an "F" rating, they have 22 unresolved complaints against them for things ranging from deceptive/high-pressure sales tactics, to failing to render services.

I would use that other firm that charged $99 a month and began services after the agreement was signed. FYI, I spoke to an RMCN guy who claimed he wasn't a sales guy (what BS-that's all I got was a high pressure sales pitch on the phone-which I didn't bite), and in talking to him, he even admitted that everything they do you can do yourself, it just takes a little longer (like an extra 3-4 months), but you must be diligent and organized, so youdon't miss re-disputing, etc. Don't fall for the high price, do this stuff yourself.

That link I just posted from the Better Business Bureau, states a few things that seem to be repeating in this forum: Charging up-front for services (illegal) and also that you can legally cancel your contract in the first 3 days. http://www.bbb.org/us/article/credit...oliferates-323

Just cancel service and do this yourself. When I spoke to RMCN, their rep was a bit too helpful (LOL) and said you can negotiate with your creditors to reduce the payment, you can pay the settlement and negotiate with them to remove the entries (removing legitimate entries is up to the creditor), and even dispute items that are invalid yourself. Save the $1500-$2000 and use it to pay the settlements yourself, and it will take you an extra 2-3 months, but if you're organized and stay on top of the deadlines, you can save yourself the hassle of this overpriced outfit. Don't get ripped off, do the work yourself.

i recently signed up with RMCN company and it hasnt even been a week yet and i called to cancel after my ex stole everything i had from my account. the intial start up fee was "$800" based on the amount of items that needed to be removed plus $109 a month for the next 6months. I called 3 days after and on the fourth day still no response..apparently the representative Linda Moore was out sick..I was scheduled to have $500 dollars removed first and the other $ 300 the following week. the 5oo hadnt cleared yet and i was trying to call to stop the payment until I was able to get things situated with my bank..i spoke to Linda moore who told me there was nothing they could do..the 5oo had cleared from my account the very next morning she returned to work after being out ill. i asked for a refund because i couldnt aford the service now..she still insisted there was nothing she could do..after speaking with the higher supervisor in charge he to told me they couldnt refund my money and the 300 dollars would still come out of my account..i asked if i could pay for whatever it was they have done with my credit in the past 4 days and he declined telling me i can cancel after payng the entire 800 dollars first..when i asked him what exactly they have done to help me in the past 4 days that was worth that extreme amount of money...not even the supervisor could tell me exactly what has been done..he just kept repeating well you came to us because you need your credit fixed and after a very long conversation and no proof that they even started fixing my credit yet...they straight out told me im not able to get my money back and they would still take out the remaining 300 dollars from my account...afer reading several entries they told me my fees were based on the amount of credit i need fixing..it looks to me like everyone starts out with $800 plus amount to start...do we all have the exact amount of credit that needs to be fixed or are they LIARS!!! and try to sucker everyone out of $800 plus to get started..DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPANY THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU, THEY ARE LIARS, AND THEY WILL DRAIN YOU FOR EVERY LAST DROP!!! CALL DSI credit repair service they can do exactly what these idiots claim to do for a one time fee of $267 and will work on your credit for an entire 6months with no additional hidden cost and no monthly fees....RMCN>>>>YOU SUCK!!! and you do not care about your clients like you claim you do!!!!!

Yep, same here! RMCN is a SCAM! They had no problem chargin my a start-up fee nor did they have any problem chargin me for their monthly fee but....all they did was sent a bunch of dispute letters to the collectors and that was it! almost $2000 for what? And my score is even worse than it was before I signed up with them! Their "individual approach" is a lie! The only time I would get any kind of response from the rep was if I emailed him 4-5 times. Towards the end of the so called "contract" I asked them to show me the difference between my original score and the final one so I could see what type of work they have done and they told me that they are not allowed to obtain a credit report! How can you be a CREDIT REPAIR company if you can't even obtain a credit report? I am planning on emailing my complaint to the CEO of the company and then if that does not get resolved then I am taking it to the BBB. People please DO NOT USE RMCN! IT's a SCAM!

Don't do it. I almost signed up with RMCN. My warning signs were:

1) The start up fee of $1,017.00
2) The monthly fee of $109
3) The attempt to get me to sign a contract before reading it
4) The repeated telephone calls when I would not immediately sign
5) The company owner calling to convince me to sign up with RMCN
6) The reviews from this website

Cool Bubba is terribly misinformed. Sending not my account disputes will yield permanent point increases about 10% of the time, and rarely large ones. A one hundred point jump is substantial and can typically only be achieved through the use of the many laws set forth by the FTC and others to have the items legally removed. Get your facts together Redneck Bubba!!

Hi! I currently use RMCN and truly happy with their services. I signed up in October with Jason "Woody" Wood. My credit score at that time was in the upper 500s but I was unable to qualify for a mortgage loan because of defaulted student loans and slow payments. By December, RMCN had not only increased my credit by 50 points bringing me closer to my goal of the low 600s, but they were successful in having more than 75% of the negative stuff removed from all three credit bureaus. I had tried calling creditors to have them remove stuff from my credit to no avail. RMCN knows the secrets that most of us don't know in order to have stuff removed successfully (i.e. requesting proof via signed documents, is your name spelled correctly on the debt, etc,.). One of the most amazing thing was that RMCN had the defaulted student loans removed after the government stated that they don't remove defaulted student loans eventhough I had successfully participated in a rehabilitation program. Now the student loan shows in good standing, paid on time. This allowed me to place the loans in default while I finish my doctorate program. Since beginning the program, and this is only the last of January, RMCN has increased my credit score by another 30 points. That's 80 points in only 4 months. Of course there was an initial start up fee and a monthly payment but I feel it was more than worth it in my case. With their help, I not only qualified for the mortgage but my scores are continually increasing. Although my credit score is high enough to stop the service I am staying. As a matter of fact, if you stay with the service for 6 months, they will continue to work on your credit free of charge. Hopefully, in the next few months they can move me into the 700s. I utilized another service about 8 years ago, but RMCN out produces them. I know cause I'm a bit of a pack rat when it comes to keeping documents for 10 years minimum, and I had looked over the file from the other service. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about RMCN and hope you really think about using them. The staff has been great and accomodating and the service is unsurpassed. I am a witness to their effectiveness. Good Luck!!!

yeah i had a friend who actually use Lexington Law firm, and yes the got her credit cleared but six months later she trid to get a house and all the things that were cleared off her credit were right back on there. With that being said she switched to RMCN and had immediate results and now a year later she has great credit and a house.
