Meaning RMCN...this is a scam. I worked there as an agent and they charge you whatever amount they want. Agents are incouraged to "up" the price as this is how you get paid. The amount you are charged has absolutley nothing to do with the amount of debt you owe. It is based on sales quotas.

Im glad I came to this site and read all the information you guys put on here becasue I just left them a message to contact me but I will decline the offer when they call. I have read the ripoff reports on lexington law firm and they are no good as well. Does anyone know a really good company to repair my credit seems like they all ripping people off. I know of a good consolidation company but I need a repair to make my score go up quickly.

RMCN does stuff you can do yourself
Quote:
RMCN charges up front fees...guess what?? that's against Federal Law: http://www.bbb.org/us/article/credit...oliferates-323 It is against the law, and a HUGE RED FLAG to charge for credit repair services up-front before redendering any service. The BBB also lists this company with an "F" rating, they have 22 unresolved complaints against them for things ranging from deceptive/high-pressure sales tactics, to failing to render services. I would use that other firm that charged $99 a month and began services after the agreement was signed. FYI, I spoke to an RMCN guy who claimed he wasn't a sales guy (what BS-that's all I got was a high pressure sales pitch on the phone-which I didn't bite), and in talking to him, he even admitted that everything they do you can do yourself, it just takes a little longer (like an extra 3-4 months), but you must be diligent and organized, so youdon't miss re-disputing, etc. Don't fall for the high price, do this stuff yourself. |

Just cancel service and do this yourself. When I spoke to RMCN, their rep was a bit too helpful (LOL) and said you can negotiate with your creditors to reduce the payment, you can pay the settlement and negotiate with them to remove the entries (removing legitimate entries is up to the creditor), and even dispute items that are invalid yourself. Save the $1500-$2000 and use it to pay the settlements yourself, and it will take you an extra 2-3 months, but if you're organized and stay on top of the deadlines, you can save yourself the hassle of this overpriced outfit. Don't get ripped off, do the work yourself. |
