Problem with NCO

0
Ok, so I had a collection (from the OC) on my report. It was actually deemed a repo, even though it was a leased car and was returned the same month as the lease was up. Anyway, the DOLA was 12/03. It was on one credit report and now is gone. I received a dunning letter today and have a question. My SOL in my state is 6 years. I know or think? I can't be legally sued. Is this right? Secondly, can they report this on my credit report because they are now reporting it as a collections with a "fall off" date of now 3/13. What can I do? I have already submitted disputes with the credit bureau's and filed complaints to the BBB and FTC.

This is classic re-aging. Do you have an older copy of your report that shows the older drop off date? If so, send a letter to the CRA with a copy of the page where the older report is on, highlight the drop off date. Ask them to please fix this. I would also slap the CA with a VERY strongly worded letter that deliberately reporting falsely is a violation and that you can and will sue them.
