When I called the original creditor they told me it was Bass Enterprises. There is not one listed in florida under that name either.

Hi I also recieved a call at work from Lynn. She said my account and email had been red flagged and she went on and on about how I got a loan and it was fradulent not to pay. I explained to her that this was a civil matter. She was reading off a script it was so obvious. Anyway she didn't really want to come out and threaten me because I think she could tell that I was on to her little game. Well I'm still going to file a complaint and will send a letter. Does anyone have their address

Why does everyone assume that every company in Jax, Fla is an Ellis Crosby thing? I am with Bass & Assoc. and i hear what is being said and none of what you all are saying is true. If you want to think of the worst than that is fine. We try to help you get out of debt, instead you all waist your time talking to each other about something that isnt true instead of trying to take care of your debt. Even if you didnt pay us you will have to pay someone in long term. So why prolong this? Pay your debt and do the right thing

Then why don't you reveal your address to the people when they ask for it?

Why don't you just go ahead and put it on here then so it's easier for people who need it.

We never kept our address a secret. Should anyone ask for the address, they will recieve it. Now, my question to you as the moderator, why dont you encourage these folks to lift themselves out of the position they put themselves in? Instead, you continually drum up negativity and keep them in a prepetual cycle of their own wrong doing. Additionally, you steer them into consumer credit counseling, so that others profit from the debtors misfortune. Go ahead, pat yourselves on the back for a job not well done.

Call our office and you will get the address. What is an address going to do about your debt? If you call the company you owe they will refer you to us, so why stall?

Never mind that,

Why did I receive two different phone calls from two different people but from the same number and each one told me a different company name. One being Bass & Associates, the other being Interstate Wire Compliance/Prelitigation...but the return phone call for both was the same number. When I aksed for the address both individuals refused to give the information. I'm not just going to send money to somebody who won't give me any information. You have to admit it seems kind of shady. Why are the people telling individuals that they will lose their jobs or have somebody show up at their place of employment. As a collection agency, they are required to validate the debt.

When I returned the lady's phone call she told me she was on the phone with the District Attorney's office in regards to me. Whey would she tell me that, why would she be on the phone with the DA's office about me.

I did kind of seem wierd to me but that is what happened.

Do you guys ever mail out letters to the indviduals that request debt validation. Alot of people just want to know how their 260 loan amounts with maybe a few returned item fees came out to be a 700 dollar balance. Most people on here state they want to pay their debts, they just don't like the fact that they are being threatend or that they can't get any information from the people who are asking for the money.

You asked what is an address going to do about your debt? Well, having an address will allow the person to send monthly payments after proper validation of course in the form of money orders or cashiers check.

In my dealings with these collection people for payday loans they never want to give you their address. I wonder could it be that they know the payday loan people are so illegal in their rates? Each state has the maximum interest they can charge, however; how in the world can someone actually justify 700 plus interest . I had one collection agency tell me everyone was ignorant that took out payday loans. My response was start disclosing the borrowers state laws and maybe you wont have so many ignorant people complaining. They are all into this scam everyone just be careful. KYSIDE38

I'm so glad you are here. I received a call from a Suzanne at Bass and Associates saying that she need $595 by 3:00. I told her I couldn't get it by that day and I could make a payment on my next payday. She told me they needed all the money on my next payday or they would press charges. I asked her to mail me or e-mail something as to whom the money was due to and how much exactly was owed. She said I would get something after I finished paying.
My payday is now today and she just called me asking whether I was still going to pay. I told her I haven't even looked at my check to see if I could make the whole payment and she just said I could not go back on an agreement and hung up on me.
What do I do now?
I want to clear my debt but I want to make sure it is actually going to my debt and now some scam artists. I don't think real creditors would hang up on you.
