Well Tammy filing a complaint will not make your debt go away!!!!! You will still be responsible for paying this!!!! If you dont want to pay us thats fine but you will pay to another agency!!!! So dont think you are getting off. You all want someone to feel sorry for you cause you think you were threatened please people get a life. If someone owed you money you would feel different but since you all had payday loans you probably cant afford to loan money out so you wouldnt know how it feels. Stay out of debt and you wont have any problems. If you dont pay your light bill and the light company says they are gonna cut your lights off will you consider that a threat? Will you file a complaint against them? Or better yet will you tell them to validate the amount of electricity you used? No you wont cause you have to pay your light bill to live. But since you think you all got free money it's ok to have a forum and talk about shutting companies down. Maybe you all need a job or a second job to pay these debts instead of being on a computer all day talking about nothing!!!!!

Actually, when you get your electric bill, they tell you how much electricy you have used. So I guess they beat the customer to the punch and provide that information.

And if I question the usage (as I have in the past), I can call them and they will send me something. Once, there was actually a billing error that my electric company corrected.

Ok - enough with the personal attacks. Let's all be adults here and when we contact each other on the phone.

The energy company sends us a bill and statement in the mail. The energy company also gives out the address and does not threaten us with arrest if we cannot pay our bill. They don't tell us they are submitting affadavits to have somebody come and pick us up. The energy company also sets up payment arrangements if needed. Nobody on here is saying they don't want to pay their bills. I for one am not going to just up and send a company a money gram for $700 without seeing something on paper.
Which goes back to my question in an earlier post....Why doesn't your company send out letters in the mail? It's required by law, especially when requested.

I just want to let everyone know that i have filed a complaint against bass and associates for calling and threating me with bank fraud and jail at work. I will be sending it out in a few minutes to the attorney general's office.

It often amazes me that these picklepusses have no grammar skills, let alone social conscience. Maybe that's why collections is the only job they're suited for.

Well i work in collections and i am getting paid!!! I have no debt at all!!!! So if that is the only job i am suited for to not end up like all of you then thats fine with me. Now i gave you our address and i am hoping to hear from all of you.

If you check the side menus under OUR SERVICES the third one up says Books and Softwars. Click on Books and there is an option to choose DEBT CONSOLIDATION SAMPLE LETTERS FOR FREE. You can open it as a PDF file and there is a sample for Debt verification letter.

This is not the Bass & Associates law firm out of Arizona, or any "Bass & Associates" for that matter. Their name is "Bass Prelitigation Services" out of Jacksonville, Florida. They are fraudulently giving out Bass & Associates as their name to all those who complain in attempt to get people off their trail. Please do not complain to AG's office about "Bass & Associates", use their real name Bass Prelitigation Services. Thanks
