ive sent them 3 different money grams and there info keeps changing all the time first there jacksonville bassp, then jacksonville bass prelitigations, then bass enterprises. we settled our debts thru bankruptcy and i told them that but they said they didnt care i stilled owed them money because it was bank fraud and theft. They had an affidavit for me and everything, it scared me thats why i started paying them but im not sending them another time.

They lied to you to take you for your money. You don't owe a dime especially since it was included in your bankruptcy.They should really look up the definition of affidavit because it isn't an arrest warrant, it is sworn written statement/has made an oath. Tell them you have an affidavit on them too, "I here by delcare that you are a fraud and you will no longer intimidate me into giving you another dime", make sure you hold your right hand up to make it official. I think that company is under investigation, tell them one day soon they may be guaranteed three squares and a cot.

well. I sent the debt validation letter and I'm saving everything i have to pay the "supposedly debt" that i have with them. I still think they're overcharging me double + more...what should I do? Just send the payment and keep complaining or wait till they respond with the debt validation letter, then send the money.....?

Definatly wait, every collection agency is supposed to validate the debt. Just keep telling them, no validation no money.

I had Bass calling me on three accounts. When they started calling me I just kept telling them everything they were doing and saying was illegal and I just ignored their phone calls. I set my cell phone up so they would go straight to my voicemail. They eventually stopped calling me and shortly after that I filed bankrupt and I called the I-collect place and made them aware of my bankruptcy. I'm sure they have all received the bankruptcy notice by now. So I never actually had to have my bankruptcy attorney contact them, because they haven't tried to call me back.

Did your husband receive a call from Bass & Associates at his job. They try to collect on defaulted payday loans, but they go about doing it illegally. What sort of info did they give your husband?

Like I mentioned above, this company try's to collect on defaulted payday loans. Did your husband take out any Payday loans that you are aware of? This is a very hard company to deal with and your husband may want to call them back to see what or who they are trying to collect for. I must warn you though, they are very rude on the phone and they threaten people with all kinds of things. Don't let this company get to you, if your husband calls back they are going to try to get him to send a crazy amount of money by way of money gram.
