Has anyone ever dealt with this company? I had a payday loan with tendollardayloan (RIO Resources, MTE Financial) I sent them aletter to cease and desist debiting my checking account. The PDL came back with a settlement of $400.00 which I disagreed with and they sent to this collection agency.

Is this a collection agency collecting for Rio Resources? If they are, you must get the details of the debt in writing as per the fdcpa laws. Go through this link for information on debt validation.

You can still contact Rio Resources if you want to make arrangements directly with them. They might work with you if the debt is not sold off to the outside agency.

I think this is a collection agency for the company. I have requested the validation of the debt.
