Does anyone have a fax number to Bass ans Associates? They called on Friday with the whole interner fraud, arrest thing...I want to send a fax for the calls to stop...thanks

I thought the one that usually does the threatening is the Bass&Associates in Florida. I don't have a fax number, but the main number is (877)281-2224.

Sending a fax won't be enough for stopping Bass and Associates doing illegal practices. You need to send a legal cease and desist notice to stop all collection activities on the phone. If they need to contact you further, it should be done through mail only.

The sample letter is put in this link. Send it through certified mail and return receipt requested so that you have proof about their receiving your letter. You will get the green copy signed by them. This should be your legal evidence if they contact you further and violate the FDCPA laws.

No problem if you fax the letter, make sure that the letter is sent through USPS mail also.

Brownsugar is correct, the address listed above for Bass and Associates located in Arizona is a legitimate business I would not send them a cease and desist letter, they are not the Bass and Associates contacting you Denise. The one you are talking about is located in Jacksonville, FL.

thanks for the information , I know I need to follow up with a letter I was just wanting to get the ball rolling ....these people have a lot of nerve...as do I and I WILL NOT let them think they can get away with their threats
