Im upset because I had a car repoed and the bank turned over my account to these slime buckets for 700.00 and there after me for 11,000.00. they have threatened me, garnished my check, and froze my bank accounts trying to get my whole paycheck which i think is illegal. They are telling me they are going to take my car if they find it..what can i do? Is this all legal? i am a single mom and cant afford a lawyer and they know this

I think you should talk with your bank and offer them a repayment plan. You will need to pay the debt in order to stop any adverse actions from happening. They can accept direct payments from you and pull the file from the CA.

HI Kelsbells317 , welcome to the boards, we are all here to assist you however we can. I do need to clarify something, has the car been repossed already and if not are you making the payments on it?

I had a car through a bank and all of a sudden it stopped working the total cost were more than the car was worth so i told them to come get it they sold the car at an auction for 150.00 and is telling me that I owe them 5,465.02 is there a way I can offer them a settlement amount, you know pay by deletion? I'm thinking 20% of the debt is the fair amount and 100 under what the car is worth

Since they are garnishing your wages and your bank account, you must have been taken to court and a judgement obtained. Did you go to court?
