Anyone have any information on this one? They claim to represent Chase Bank. However they never sent me a letter and call my parents residence 5 times a day at least.
I emailed them just the other day and they sent me a generic letter via email attachment and only giving me 2 days to pay them $8000.

It looks like Valentine and Kebartis is not following the debt validation laws. Ask your parents to send a complete cease and desist letter to their mailing address. Once they have received the letter from your parents, they are not legally allowed to call them anymore. If they do, they will violate the federal laws and your parents will have the rights to sue them.
You should call the company and legally make them validate the account. They should give you the complete details in writing. See the FDCPA laws in the FTC website. If you receive nothing, send one letter asking for the info and have a proof of your actions. Make sure that the letter is sent through certified mail and return receipt requested.

This morning I sent V&K a certified letter w/ return receipt requesting debt validation and also requesting that phone communication cease.
