Does anyone have an idea about this number? When I called, it was a cheap recording, and I couldn't find any information on Google either. Is it a collection agency??

According to whocalled.us, it is a SCAM. Multiple complaints have been logged in on this number.

I had a call from this number. The lady I spoke with said she is Jennie from Protection Plan. She said that she got a report from Bank of America and found some false charges added on to my account. I told that I never had any account with Bank of America. She immediately hung up on me.

I have been getting phone calls from 716-566-9598 for quite some time now. When I first answered the phone, I had a female on the other line who told me that she was calling from Bank of America and that she was investigating some fraudulent charges made to my Bank of America Account.

I don't have a Bank of America Account, so I decided to play her game and see what she said. I let her talk and she wanted me to give her my account number, my social security number, home address and other personal info.

When I told her that that I was recording her call, she immediately hung up and still calls me on a regular basis until I remind her that I know who she is.

I contacted the FBI and they are investigating this number. From what I know, the number comes back to an answering machine, but it is believed to be in another country, not in the USA.

I would contact http://www.ic3.gov/ .This is the online complaint center for the dept. of justice.It looks like they are trolling for personal info to steal for a profit. Get the Fbi involved post haste.

i've receive calls from this number also, when I answer - there is no one on the other end. I called this # and got a busy signal.. if ever I get someone, I will tell them to never call me again and if they do they will be reported to "abuse" authority.. I bet they will all me for my info, but probably won't give their's...thanks for the forum

I have been having the same issue with this number... I get at least 2 to 3 calls per week from this number on my cell. I called the number back from a land line and it's disconnected. But like clockwork every week, I continue to receive calls. When I do answer them all I get is a hang up or a foul mouthed man that has no hesitation to start using foul language when I ask him who he is and what he is calling for. I have never got an answer as to who these people are.... Does anyone know?

a lady called today to let me know that with out my credit card to pay for the 499.00 a year fee our website will no long be seen on any search engine and today was the last day to renew and I had to make a decision right now.she rushed me. I told her that I do not have a website and she hung up the phone immediatly.

These people claim to be National (or Nationwide) Marketing. From what I can gather it is a scam and they try to convince you to pay for a yellowpage ad. Our state's Consumer Protection Agency has tried to contact them thru this number and they have "ghosted" it - meaning it is a disconnected number that they can somehow get to appear on caller i.d. They suggested just hanging up on them - because you can repeated request they don't call back and they will and some of the operators use profanity. I got one guy so upset he called me like 3 times and demanded my name and I just laughed at him.
