help with this number 800-287-3130

Apparently this company is a collection agency. I googled the number and found this address

Credit Control INC PO BOX 451 Chesterfield MO 63006

If you google the number and read about them they are associated with several rather underhanded companies. I would tread very carefully with them.. I would most certainly send them a letter requesting the validate my debt and cease all contact.

I've been having the same problem with these people. However, the address "Jim gave me was PO Box 4635, Chesterfield, MO 63006-4635. I sent a letter requesting debt validation and cease all contact with delivery confirmation. I checked the USPS website today - either the address is wrong or the zip code is wrong and my letter was forwarded. I will update as soon as I have a verified address. BTW, they are VERY underhanded and "Jim" was quite rude on the telephone. I had to 'put up' with his abuse until he (finally) gave me their mailing address, apparently the WRONG mailing address at that!

Ive also been receiving harrassing phone calls from this number and "john" is a VERY rude guy. Are they trained to be Aholes??
