Who is ed taylor calling from 864-527-9167. It is a prerecorded message. Leaves a call back number of 1-877-389-1132. When you return the call the phone just rings. Think this is some type of collection agency. Any info would be appreciated.

They are apparently from a collection agency who collects on returned checks.

although Ed Taylor's prerecorded message sounds a bit harsh,the people at the 864 number were actually pleasant to deal with. dont call the 800 # as no one answers.

i've had something like that happening to me for the past few weeks, except, the phone number 1-877-389-1132, will call everyday between noon and 2 but hang up as soon as the call has connected to my cell, i'm wondering if there is a way to trace a toll free number?

They are calling me too...same recorded message. Anyone know if they are collecting for PDL's?? I know I dont have any outstanding NSF checks...

It's okay to answer, if you want to clear up some check issues... I didn't start getting this call until I called Clear Check about an issue I had with my kids 8th grade school pictures.. The school finally decided to deposit the check, which is fine, but it was two years later, and I didn't have that account anymore. Once informed Clear Check, they talked to their vendor (Life Touch Photos) who waved the check fee.... How does $24, turn into $124.00.. Dunno, but they were nice folks..
