I've never heard of them. Have you checked them out with the BBB?

A dear friend of mine is using CYD to absolve some credit issues due to misuse of credit cards and credit accounts. She was told that her credit rating will go up and that all of her debt will be settled in 24 months. She pays CYD $491 per month, doing the math, that comes to a total of $11,784 in pmts for debts that totaled approximately $3600. Additionally, she is currently being sued in Small Claims Court for a debt that will not participate in the CYD program, so she is going to have a judgment against her anyway. Based on some research I am currently doing to help her regarding this company, I feel certain that she will no longer be participating with CYD in the future. Do your homework people! Why in the world ANYONE would give a company money to 'consolidate debt' that has this kind of negative feedback, well it's just beyond my thinking.

I worked for Clear Your Debt, LLC for 2 weeks. There were some things that seemed a little off base. They have a review board that doesn't exist (supposidly supposed to say if you "qualiry" of not). And the language in their script included street language such as "down with that"...to indicate something good. Not in the least professional. -- But the kicker was...ALL their employees (about 50) are contracted. Clear Your Debt, Llc is paying NO employment tax or worker's comp. And...the person in charge...Mr Jordan Lane...had indicated he'd done jail time.- in Oklahoma. I really started to feel there was a ripp of business in place when I found out the attorney they hired (oh..."advisor") had lost his license to practice law in the State of Texas (disbarred)..for ripping off his clients. Basically he took their money and did nothing for them. These guys actions are far from Christian values. I see that now the Feds have caught up with them and the Satet of Texas labor department. --- I give them about another year before the remaining employees show up to locked doors an empty business space..and the owners have conveniently disappeared with millions of dollars from people who were already hurting.

I have been a victim of this "Christian" debt consolidation company too. They should be made to pay back the astronomical fees they have milked from people already having problems I don't see anything Christian like about that. They are robbing from the poor to become rich, I have an ongoing battle with them right now. terrible company. Thank you

I also was duped by this company. Has anyone had any success getting any money back from this company. They took 3200 from me and didn't even settle all of my debt. The ones they couldn't settle, they simply said there was nothing they could do and now 25 percent of my paycheck is being garnished for debts they could not settle.

ripoffreport.com indicates this company has an absurd amount of complaints against them for unethical and devious business practices. They're simply in the business of robbing people of their minds and their money. They first opened 3 years ago in Austin. I was one of the company's first 2 contracted associates. I was ripped off by $16,200 and still have not reclaimed any of it, despite the help from an attorney. This company has opened up several other companies under different names in an effort to protect their assets & interests. As they continue to rip off the financially devastated, their bad reputation is growing. Any basic google search or ripoffreport.com search will paint the clear picture of the debt they are not clearing & the victims they are accumulating. They are a threat to the public. They have been on Fox 7 News Austin for ripping people off (myfoxaustin.com, (2007), Debt Clearing Company, Last Edited: Monday, 14 Jan 2008, 10:01 PM CST

Enough said about it, see for yourself.
