I would be willing to bet they're trying to collect on a debt. Do you have any idea what debt it could be? Have you ever received any correspondence from them?

If you search this number on net, you will learn many complains against them. Its infact their common practice to call up people saying that they have their SSN information. Many people have made futile inquires on this number before as well. They actually don't possess any info regarding your social security. This sounds like a scam. Hence, its wise not to respond to their call and even though you do, don't give out any personal information to them.

I'm in Florida and spoke with Allison from Jason Evans. A representative called my home last week saying that they were a law firm in Kissimmee and a judgment was being filed against me. I wasn't home, but my daughter asked if it was regarding a specific debt and she was told no. Allison told me that her law firm had bought the debt last month and was giving me the opportunity to pay the debt so that I could stay out of court. I looked on line and found this, but I cannot locate a law firm by the name of Jason Evans anywhere in Florida. It is a frightening situation because I was told by the court clerk in my county that I don't need to be served for a judgment to be entered against me.

I'm checking my credit report and found out that last month they pulled my credit report without my permission and without my knowledge.

I would also like to know who they are. They keep calling for my ex-husband. Even though I told him he is not at this number and they need to stop, they said they would keep calling until they reached him or he called them. Isn't this harrassment?

I'm glad I found this website, I was looking for the Evans Law Firm, all the information I have is on the "East Coast" I received a message from "Allison at the Evans Law Firm" and she said she was calling regarding a serious matter, very threatening and rude saying she has to hear from me by today. I will confer with a legitimate attorney and let them handle it. I would think I would know if there was a "serious matter". Have not received any correspondence from an "Evans Law Firm" .
