Does anyone have an email contact for someone specific at Loan Point USA...I have emailed customer service and I keep getting the same reply...call. I have two PDL left...them being one and the other is quickest-cash-advance....i only owe $100 more to each...however, when I contacted Loan Point last week to see what my balance was...they told me and I never received a paydown form like i usually do every other week in my email. i emailed them asking why...is it because i want to pay it off and you are trying to scam more money out of me? then i get the call email reply. i can't wait to be done with them forever. i was just curious if anyone had any specific contacts at loan point who i can complain to?

I don't have that, but maybe someone else might. One thing you might try though is adding "Admin@whatever it is for customer service, instead of putting customerservice@whatever.com try admin@whatever.com.

also, i always got a response when i emailed: customerservice@loanpointusa.com the people who email and say to call usually send it from a different address.. I just usually reply to that address and say I will not be calling and to send something in writing. they also respond to BBB reports-- all BS, of course but it's a way to get their attention.

Hi Wendy,

Loan Point will continue to take the fee out of your account unless you advise them 3 days before the withdrawal that you want to pay it off or pay it down. What state do you live in? I can tell you if they are legal or not...

has anyone had any luck with them lately? it's so crazy, i live in NJ and only have the principal to pay. It would have been paid now, as were my others but they will not budge! I didn't give them anything yet because they won't agree to anything less that $900 (on a $400 loan!)

any out there know how to secure one of these forms, so I can pay them off on a 200.00 loan. Already they have taken 60.00 three times from my account, which the CSR lady said it was going towards the interest only, and not the principle. What a scam and you can never get a direct answer, when you ask them when it will be paid off completely...I'm referring to the principle loan part. I live in the state of New Mexico, and its not even legal in this state to charge that kind of interest or to make such an loan arrangemtn as loanpoint has.

I too had a pdl with Centurion/Loan Point USA/Geneva Roth -
I paid 1200 for a 500 loan. I closed my bank account, sent a letter that said I had overpaid.
They said that I needed to call customer service. When I did, customer service offered me a settlement of 1/2 the principal - $250. I told them I had already overpaid.
They tried to tell me that internet loan companies only have to comly with the state THEY are located in - not my state (AL).
I sent another letter stating that I do not agree to their terms of settlement and filed a complaint with my state's attorney general's office.
I haven't heard from them...but I'm sure I will.

Loanpoint usa is bad news. I have asked these people to stop debiting my account and they continue to do so. They change the amounts, so you will not suspect anything. They are illegal in every state and have been sued by several states. So, they are nothing but trash. They will not work with you. They would rather keep stealing from your account. That is why you need to close it completely.
