They bought the contract. Until they get their money or the original loan company buys it back, you are screwed

I do owe debt but due to a life altering situation 5-6 years ago my income went from two to one. Then I was out of work and when I finally had work it was not enough to get by barely, let alone paying creditor's. Tried telling them that I am starting a class on 4-20 to enable me to get a job, but they refuse to listen. They are ruthless and CRUEL and I do not know what to do any longer. Their number is 866-328-7161 and I cannot seem to find their address or where they are from? Any help or advice would be appreciated. My stomack is in knotts and it is hard to sleep at night.

Northstar Collection agency ( or "Location" services) must be a front for the Russian Mafia-My husband is on SSI, I'm unemployed, yet they think I've got $21 grand to pay off my student loan..right. I think they'll have a hard tome collecting it.

So where can I find out if they need to be licensed in my state to be able to keep contacting me or not? They have called my parent's business 3 times today as well as called my mom twice at her other job. My mom hung up on them and the guy called back and told the lady at the front desk to tell my mom that "it's not nice to hang up on people that are about to sue you." Then called back my parent's business and left a message that my mom had told him to do what he had to do and said good luck, being entirely rude about it.

I got a letter from these folks I kid you not-- FIVE DAYS after I moved. I'm renting and nobody has my new address, not even the telephone company yet. This is very freaky.

My father had me look these people up. He is getting threatening phone calls from them that they are going to have his son, my brother, arrested for not paying a bad debt. This is a violation of federal law on so many levels.

Please simply report these debt terrorists to your State's Attorney General's Office. The calls will stop.
