NorthStar collections - Are they easygoing?

These people are very rude and extremely unprofessional and I will never pay them one single dime more. They talked to me on the phone and cussed me and told I was a loser. I will sue them for harrassment if they ever try to contact me again as my original payment plan was for 100.00 a month until these North Star fools started sending the bills to the wrong address. I have contacted my lawyer who is now putting a trace on my telephone to record all future calls from this agency. I will own them if they call again!! Please beware that North Star Collection Agency is a hoax for prople who cannot find any other type of work.

they keep calling for my husband who has been dead now for 1.5years! they have the wrong person, different middle name, but they don't seem to care! I talked with a Director and he hung up on me after trying to get some sort of assurance they would not call again

Ok, so they sent me a letter about a debt I have been trying to pay off for years. I sent back a payment and requested to be sent monthly statements.

Some rude guy called me a few weeks later and started harassing me. He said I didn't make a payment (when I have the cleared check), and that they don't send out anything via US Mail regarding accounts so they couldn't send me an account update in the mail. So, I told him I wouldn't pay anything until I got something in the mail, especially since the caller ID came up "Unknown...and the phone #".

They are absolute JERKS!!!

Northstar called me asking about a check I wrote a year ago...

Apparently a $45 dollar check I bounced at some grocery store or something...

I just paid it to them over the phone with my debit card, so goodbye!

At least Northstar collection services was very professional and reliable...

Northstar Technologies is licensed in all 50 states, and is the best bad check collection agency for bounced checks...As far as I know, they have never harassed anyone or broken any FDCPA laws.

sorry to break it to you but statue of limitations expiring just means they cant sue you- they can still call everyday

These people are morons! They have called my jackass sister-in-law and of course she gave out my number now they dont stop! Thats okay number is being changed and none of the family is getting any numbers lol good luck now northstar

I sold a bunch of stuff to this guy a week ago for about $4800 and 5 days later the bank told me the check bounced due to insufficient fund. I can't even reach that guy. Now, am I suppose to just sit and say " oh well"...Damn, I'm going to go to the Police, to the state of Attorneys and then use Northstar! these people had to put in their places.

I tried to settle with northstar collections by mail, but the man I spoke to was so insolent he insisted I pay "today" over the phone or he'd garnish my wages. I told him I would be happy to pay my husband's outstanding debt, but I would not give sensitive information over the phone...HE HUNG UP ON ME

My 92 yr.old grandfather has a debt, and this co, called me at my friends home and said I was put down as a contact, not true , I am not the contact or responsible for his debt... they are liars, snoopers and they need to be reported, any suggestions?
