I really hate/detest anyone calling at almost 8:30 at night. Especially an unlisted and non-published(private) phone number. Their practices suck big time.

damn collectors got my grandmothers home phone number some how??? i have never ever used her number for anything. isn't this some sort of harrasment?

If they called her after reaching you or called her more than once that is a violation of the fdcpa. You can sue them for that.

This place called my friends MOTHER! I never give her phone number for ANYTHING and I don't even know her number myself!!!

They are calling me about Premier Bankcard for charges PREMIER put on the account I cancelled! Any suggestions!

Who do these people work for? I'm getting messages from them. I don't owe anyone money to the best of my knowledge.

This company can be hired by any person as long as they have proof of debt. They will even collect on bad personal checks. As far as them getting your families information, some one who knows this information provided it to them

NorthStar collections kept calling us to collect money from Sahid Ali. We told them in a million times that there's no Sahid Ali in our household. Their usual response is "OK, we'll take your number off the list." And then the following day, these people would call back again and leave a collection message for Sahid ALi. What part in our conversation of "there's no Sahid Ali in our household" they don't understand? And some of them have no manners. They'd just hang up the phone without saying goodbye. No wonder they can't collect any amount from this person because they keep calling the wrong person.

Northstar collections called my house every three minutes, no joke, 8:45, 8:48 and so on. When I finally answered the phone they were very unprofessional. When I called them back they answered "Hello." Some "business" they are!

Did you hear the one about a woman that was contacted by them from an amount that was owed 20 years ago?

What has me totally ticked about Northstar collections is the fact that not only are they trying to collect on a debt but the credit card company that it is owed to is also calling for the same thing. When they were both told that under PA statue of limitations that they are unable to collect it, guess what?!! Both are still calling! So now it is time to send out registered letters and the one that will go directly to the credit card company will also have that they are NOT to give out my private home phone number to anyone for any reason "and" at if at anytime it is found that they have upon receipt of that letter, a LARGE MAJOR lawsuit will be filled and processed to the end of my satisfaction.
