Listen to the posts. They have called me about my 4 and 6 year old sons. They needed to verify their birthdates. I have absolutely no outstanding debts and neither do my sons. I dont even have a credit card. I wouldnt give any info since Ive never heard of the company. I smelled scam all over these guys. Dont deal with them.

NRS is a valid, ligitamate and licensed collection agency. There is a group of individuals, with a strong middle eastern accent, that is frauding people with personal information they have hacked from PDL companies. NRS is not at fault or offiliated with this group of people. If they threaten you or state with anything other than a wage assignment which is legal due to the contact people have signed in thier loan contract, then you are being scammed. NRS has a valid web site and has ligitamate contact information. If the number they give you is bogus it is not the REAL NRS

I delt with these people years ago like 2 or 3 years ago. SAME story as everyone else. I ran to the Police Department...they guy was calling me from his personal house because when I called the CID it went to his family voicemail. Anyways, they are calling again....yes I owe money from about 4 years ago and am working on it...but one company at a time...AND I will pay you if you are reasonable...these people are at the bottom of my list...people above are saying because of Payday loans...yup probably those...think I had 2 or 3 of them...2 more years and off my credit thank god

I also have been getting calls about the same type of thing, only I have never signed up for a payday loan, which are illegal in my state. I have had several past debts, but settled all of them. The only thing I owe is my car, which I am still paying for. A woman named Desiree called from "NRS" which showed up on my caller ID as National Recovery Service, 716-478-0813. The woman gave me a number to call back with an extension and said I was in breach of contract regarding a loan. As I have said, the only loan I have is on my car, which I pay every month. I have not spoken to her yet, and based on the previous posts, I am considering speaking to her only with a recording device. I smell a scam, as I have been debt free for years, at least 6. My credit score has even gone way up and I have even gotten a credit card, that I use carefully now, since my past debt. I believe they are trying to collect on a past debt that I have already paid off, or they are simply trying to scam me. There have been several other attempts by previous scammers and I never given in before, so after a while they stop calling.

First off they have to be licensed in the state they are attempting to collect debt in. So simply ask them for their license number, if they are legititmate they mustr by law provide this and the full company name they used fir licensing in your state

When you statrt asking those questions you will see they start to get more rude, just an indication that they are full of $#!+.

Also if they get you suspwended how are you going to pay the bill or how are they going to recover the money????

It is against the law if they call you at work or even home. The law states they must submit all inquiries in writing and you can inform them of that...then politely hang up or unploitely hangup...
