It all depends in which state the corporate is located. Some states like Delaware have no cap on how much interest they can charge

I have a pdl with these yahooo's. I am in Washington State. I have had many with them. Do I still have to pay them? The excessive fees, etc should cover what I owe?

I sent letter to all of the payday loan people that are illegal. Advised all of them that I am not paying there loans and that I am sure I have already repaid them more than I owe in their excessive fees. I will let you know how they respond if they do.

Oh my gosh! This is disturbing! What can we do to prevent this in the other 49 states?

Among the more disturbing allegations concern the captureing of customer bank account PIN numbers. Anyone dealing with Check N Go should read the complaint, cechk their contract and their state law.

I wanted to ask you, or anyone else who reads this, has anyone attempted to get a payday loan to help fund a vacation, only to figure out that you were getting duped into paying DOUBLE what the original loan was for? I am having difficulty finding money to fund my upcoming vacation and REALLY don't want to have to get money in a way that will be harmful to my wallet in the long run.

PDL's should not be used for a vacation. They are for unexpected expenses that arise between paydays.
