Star Cash Processing: How to protect your bank account from them

This has happened to me also, they deposited 300.00 dollars into my account on march 8,2011, I did however fill out a application online through a 3rd party who then send my information to several lenders after reading the repayment terms i decided not to go through with it, then 2 days later noticed a 300 dollar deposit from star cash processing. i did not authorize this to happen and will NOT spend the money unlike 80% of the other people who have posted on here. i am going to call them first thing in the morning to reverse the deposit, and from reading atleast 50 posts on here am pretty confident i will ONLY have to pay back the 300 as long as its within 72 hours. Now another thing that trips me out is all these people on here saying they didnt authorize the deposit but spent the money, well if you spent the money they deposited then you in a way have agreed to the terms of the lending company, there is no such thing as Free money, yes you can close your account but then they will hound you to your grave, sorry butt its not worth the hounding to me and its embarrising to have bill collecters hound you at work. another thing, there is not 1 instince on here where someone has paid the money back in full inlcuding any interest fees and the lending company to continue to debit money from there account so i will not seek to close mine, and if they do all you have to do is file an affidavid at your bank and they will block any further ach transaction and more than likely deposit lost money into your account, there have been post on here going back over 2 years so apparently this IS legal or they wouldnt be able to keep lending money. so advice to all people if this happens to you DO NOT spend the money and contact the lending company ASAP, they will more than likely comply and will be civil with you as long as you are with them, you cannot call with an attitude and have already spent they money to just try and get out of paying it back. like i said before there is no such thing as FREE money!!!!!

I just checked my bank account for s bonus comming from wk n I notice an extra 250 from star cashing, I knew that was not my employer. I did not spend the money but it has been there for a wk. My own fault for not checking my account sooner but I knew I didn't have any Money in there lol! I called my bank n they couldn't help me since it was a deposit they gave me a number that was associated with the deposit I called n it was their collection department, she gave me the correct number to call tomorrow since the office was currently closed. I'm hoping they will take the money back. I never signed the loan or agreed to it. After this issue I plan to closed my account n open a new one!!! To everyone else payday loans r not something to get invovled in or ignore if u owe them, ur wages CAN be garnished n other legal actions can be taken. I'm not sure if this company can because several things have to be signed inorder to take out a loan ( I use to work for a payday loan company) u must sign a contract, it is against the law, atleast where I'm from to do a pay day loan less than 11 days n no more than 30 days. A physical check addresses to the company for loan amount n intrest included. If failed to come in on due date, after several collection attempts they are aloud to deposit the check for collections, if check is return 3 times they are aloud take legal actions( some companies ACH these days instead of check deposits. Also an aubritration agreement must be signed. U mist signed n present a new check every cycle ( this is law) because a payday loan is not an on going loan, it must be paid out then renewed which is paying the intrest n reborrowing the funds. I have no idea how this company continues whith out any of this being done. It's not going by law that's for sure. So everyone of u guys need to check with the law by ur state n go from there. Some states payday loans r illegal. So good luck everyone. But my advice is if they don't take the money back, pay it off, n reopen a new account! U don't want the legal actions, but u can't get arrested just ur wages garnished n other legal fees!

Star cash deposit money in my account and they took over 975 more then what they deposit so now i have my attorney working on this. And what gets me mad is the i never ask them for a loan ......................

I just got an email stating I can see my updated Star Processing account. All I needed to do was log in with my username and password. Of course since i didnt fill out an application, I dont HAVE a username and password. When I filled out the request to send my password, lo and behold, I never got an email.

Website looked legimate though. guess they've been working on that.

can star cash processing sue or take me to court because they been take 75 bucks from my account since march and I close my account and they send me an email me telling me they will not negotiate with no debt consolidation and that I need to call and make payment arrangement with them and they will only take a debit card or checking account

so they have taken 75.00 twice a month since march.hmmmmmm unless they deposited 550.00 you not only don't owe,but they owe you.do not even discuss paying this scumbag illegal pdl.file AG,AND FTC cmplaints as they can deal with them instead.just don't engage them as again you have overpaid on this by what i gather from your post so file the complaints then ignore them as a out of the country pdl can do nothing but call.if you ignore that then you are good.

Star cash processing also deposited money into my account without my authorization. I applied for a few loans online, but didn't accept them. Then i checked my account and here is this magical deposit =/. I called my bank and they took it out, and told me to monitor my account. But they said if they do take the money out of my account,that they could get me my money back and change my accounts. So that made me feel a little bit better about the situation. But star cash processing is really ridiculous. How can they just put money into people accounts without them authorizing it? Don't trust that at all people. Hope this helped and informed
