I have recently start receiving calls from Credit Solution Corps in reference to a credit card she told me that unless i come to an agreement with them they will notify my employer and deduct the amount from my pay each week. I thought one that creditors could not harrass you on your job. Is that so and can they deduct money out of my pay each week without my consent.

they broke the law in stating that.they would need a court order to garnish wages.demand something in writing then hang up.

You need to contact an employee who was terminated by this company for standing up and saying something about many violations and things going on there she kept screen prints and everything

maybe that employee could register and be a example of someone doing the right thing.not a guest who just vents for the sake of venting.

I've been having the same problem with them calling me at work sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. They wouldn't accept the payments I offered to pay them so I quit answering. I could barely understand the woman to start off with, then when she told me they would deduct my paycheck if I didnt pay it, it really pissed me off. My human resources lady called and told me that this company is trying to get info about me and she cant tell them anything other than my basic hire info unless I sign a release form. I guess they are about to sue me or something. This is for a cell phone bill through at&t back when it was Suncom in 2001.

No i havent paid anything on it until 2008. I never got a bill or even knew it was on my credit still. They just started calling me at work all of a sudden. I only made 3 or 4 payments to them.

You may have reset SOL with the payments. I would start digging into whether LA has adopted the UCC SOL for cellular accounts.

I found this so far. I dont know what any of it means though. My account was 10 years old in September of 08, I believe but I will have to find my old credit report to make sure.

Louisiana Statutes of Limitation

Contracts: 10 years.

Open accounts: 3 years.

Lawsuits, which are filed but not pursued, become null three years after the last action taken.

Judgment: 10 years, and if not renewed within the ten years become a nullity

I cant find anything about that. I am illiterate when it comes to finding things on the internet. I did give them my debit card number to take out the payments and they did take out some but then they stopped. I didnt have the money in my account the week of Christmas because I am a single parent and I wanted my kids to have a decent Christmas. The money has been in my account since then though. I have my statement from when they did take out the money.
